Join a free guided tour of the magnificent domed La Trobe Reading Room and see highlights of The changing face of Victoria exhibition. Discover the people, places and events that have shaped Victoria. Encounter explorers, gain insights into life on the goldfields, and explore life in Victoria in the 20th and 21st centuries from Bells Beach to Black Saturday.
New items and stories are added to this exhibition twice yearly, revealing different aspects of the Library's historic collection.
The Changing face of Victoria exhibition is on Level five of the Dome Galleries, overlooking the La Trobe Reading Room in the heart of the Library.
Tours are held daily from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, except for public holidays and the extended Christmas period. Meet in the Library’s Russell Street Welcome Zone next to Readings at 2:00pm to join a tour.
