Downies Coins and Collectables

Downies Coins is located in Southbank and is one of Australia’s largest displays of collector coins, featuring modern numismatic releases, decimal and pre-decimal Australian and world coins and banknotes. Our aim is to help you build the collection you love. Featuring three interactive, rotating coin display cabinets, mechanically controlled with a forward and reverse viewing function. Holding more than 1000 coins from all over the world, including an extensive British Colonial and Australian selection. Specialised services include rare coin sales and wish-list fulfillment, valuation services, including auction consignments, and gold and silver bullion sales. Since we began 85 years ago, we have been working to inspire collectors around the world. Downies Coins is easily accessible by public transport. There is also parking available nearby in the Southgate Shopping Centre.
