The Melbourne Visitor Hub at Town Hall is a one-stop shop for all your information needs about the city. Enjoy free Wi-Fi while you pick up free maps, brochures and get tips from the City Ambassador volunteers on things to do and how to get around on public transport. Open 9am to 6pm every day, except Christmas Day.
Friendly volunteers staff the Melbourne Visitor Booth in the Bourke Street Mall, and can supply information on shopping, attractions and events in Melbourne. Open 9am to 5pm every day, except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Your first stop when visiting the heritage-listed Fitzroy Gardens. Find out about current events and attractions, purchase your Cooks' Cottage tickets and merchandise, and enjoy the free Wi-Fi and cafe facilities. Open 9am to 5pm every day, except Christmas Day.
Around the central city you’ll see City Ambassadors dressed in their distinctive red uniforms. They can provide information on shopping, events and how to get around. The City Ambassadors work between 10am and 4pm from Monday to Saturday and from noon to 3pm on Sunday, except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Before you get too lost in this historic market, visit the volunteers at the hub in String Bean Alley in Queen Victoria Market. Get tips on navigating the market, where to find tasty treats and where you should head next on your Melbourne adventure. Open market days, 9am to 2pm Tuesday and Thursday and 9am to 3pm Friday to Sunday
Discover what locals love about Melbourne by taking a free, two to four-hour walking orientation of the city, conducted by a trained and enthusiastic volunteer. Orientations in English depart the Melbourne Visitor Hub at Town Hall daily at 9.30am, with other languages also available. Bookings are essential, call City of Melbourne on 9658 9658.

PTV Hubs located in Melbourne and some regional centres provide customers with a one-stop-shop for public transport information. These hubs are information hotspots that provide customers with face-to-face customer service for Victoria’s public transport network.
First time users can purchase and register a myki, download the PTV app, plan their journey and familiarise themselves with the network before using public transport.

Located at Southern Cross and Flinders Street Stations, Travellers Aid is a not-for-profit organisation that has been offering a wide variety of services to Melbourne travellers for almost 100 years.
Providing simple, practical travel-related support and aid to people who experience difficulties with transport, individuals are able to access assistance at their point of need, to ensure that they reach their destination safely and confidently.
Travellers Aid's services are available from two outlets within the city centre:
Located on the main concourse at Southern Cross Station opposite the Luggage Hall, this centre offers buggy and guidance services, mobility equipment, as well as medical companions. Open 7am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday.
